Considering pedagogy to be vital for continuing traditions and community outreach, Alison has taught class piano, secondary piano, and studio piano at Eastman with college-level students, and has taught children and adults through the Eastman Community Music School. Learning about both teaching and human psychology through these interactions, she aims to continue sharing her love of classical music with people of all ages and stages.

In addition to performing and teaching, she enjoys making music and cat videos.
